Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs (Government of India) is inviting application from all the willing and interested North Nationals for direct recruitment to fill up the vacant position of Personal Assistant, General Central Service, Group ‘B” (Non Gazetted/ Ministerial) in the organization. Total 69 seats are found to be vacant in the organization. Registration for the selection criteria can only be done till 20th February, 2016. No application form will be received by the organization after the last date. Description regarding the vacancy in the organization:
Name of the Organization: The vacancy is in the organization – Intelligence Bureau (IB), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
Name of the Designation: The position of Personal Assistant is found vacant in the organization.
Classification of the Position: The post belongs to Group ‘B’, Non Gazatted/ Ministerial.

Total number of 69 (Sixty Nine) seats are vacant in the organization. The distribution of the post is done as –
Unreserved – 38 seats
OBC – 10 seats
SC – 13 seats and
ST – 08 seats
Job Location:
The hired applicants will be posted anywhere in India.
Date for consideration:
The procedure of application starts from 30th January, 2016. The last date to submit the application form is 20th February, 2016. The payment of the application fee can be done till 22nd February, 2016.
The organization will not accept any application form after the last date and also the application form submitted by the applicants will be rejected if the payment of the same is not done on time.
Age Limits:
The age limit of the interested and eligible applicants must fall in the range of 18 years to 27 years. Age relaxation will be provided to the aspirants of reserved categories as follows –
SC/ ST – 05 years and OBC – 03 years
Academic Qualification:
The interested applicants must be class 12th passed and should be proficient in Stenography. Dictation should be as – 100 words per minute. The desirable qualification is that the applicants must have enough knowledge of Computer applications/ sciences viz a viz Windows 2000/ 2003, MS Word etc.
Pay Range: The salary scale of the hired applicants will be Rs 9300 to Rs 34,800 along with the Grade Pay of Rs 4600 /- every month.
Registration Cost:
The male candidates of the unreserved categories (General/ OBC) will have to deposit the application fee of Rs 50 /-. Other categories are exempted from fee payment.
The payment of the application form can be done through challan given in the Part II of the application form. The applicants must download the challan and deposit the application fee in cash at the nearest SBI Branch (State Bank of India) to process the fee payment after one day of the submission of the online application form.
The Fee once paid is non refundable.
Mode of Recruitment: The hiring process in the organization will include the following –
Firstly the organization will conduct the Written Examination. Qualifying which will lead the applicants to the Skill Test as will be conducted by the organization. The admit card for the same will be sent to the applicants through Email provided by them on the online application form.
The Written Examination will comprise of Objective Type Paper (80 marks) and Descriptive Paper (70 marks). Total marks will be 150 and the time assigned for this examination is 2 hours.
The Skill Test will be conducted to check the speed of the applicants in stenography. Total marks assigned for this category is 50. 10 minutes will be given for the shorthand, 40 minutes for transcription in English and 55 minutes for Hindi (on Computer only).
There will be total 33 centres of the examinations.
Way of Application: The application form is required to be submitted online by visiting the official web page of Ministry of Home Affairs which is “mha.nic.in”. The application form must be filled in the limit of the date.
The candidates must submit all the correct information in the online application form. They must keep the scanned copy of all the essential documents like educational certificates, passport size photograph, signature etc along with them before applying. The size of the documents must not exceed 50 KB. Upload all the required documents before the final submission of the application.
After the successful submission of the online application form, the applicants must keep the copy of the Registration Slip in the safe custody for future references. The Bureau will not accept the application form through any medium other than online mode.
