Job Description:
Medical coding is the process of converting a medical diagnosis or symptoms, procedures, and drugs into alpha numeric codes using ICD- 10 CM and CPT Code Books.
Accurate medical coding is essential to healthcare industry.
Medical Coder reviews the documentation contained in patient’s medical records and translates the same into universally accepted, industry standard medical codes.
These codes are used to submit claims to third party payers, and to gather statistical information.
Candidate Profile:
Qualification & Specifications :-
Any Life Science Graduate [B.Sc/M.Sc (Biology, Micro-Biology, Biotechnology, Bio-Chemistry, Nursing), B.Pharmacy/M.Pharmacy, B.P.T, B.Tech (Biotechnology, BioChemistry)]
Candidates who are pursuing and having backlogs in final year are not eligible.
Candidates should have good communication & analytical skills and should be good at Medical Terminology (Physiology and Anatomy).
Should be a good team player with good attitude and should have a willingness to learn.
Should be ready to give commitment of 2 and half yrs ( Mandatory )
Who had trained in Medical Coding will be an added advantage.
